The holiday season is here, which means it’s time to put on our comfy clothes and indulge in some sweet treats. But where can you go to pick up the best pies, cookies and cakes around? Our Best of Pasadena community has voted, and these are your 2022 winners for Best Bakery in Pasadena, MD.
1. Lauer’s Bakery
Located inside Green Valley Marketplace at 8095A Edwin Raynor Blvd, in Chesterfield Plaza. In 2019 Green Valley Marketplace purchased the Lauer’s location in Pasadena, and along with it all of the recipes from Lauer’s Luscious Bakery. These delicious made-from-scratch treats include local favorites like Black Bottom Cupcakes and Smearcase Cheesecake.
2. Three B’s Bakery
Located at 8711 Fort Smallwood Rd, across from Northeast High School. 3B’s Bakery opened its doors to Pasadena residents in 1957. They are easily identifiable by the large, neon pink pig perched atop the building, and known best for their marshmallow donuts and freshly made pastries.
3. Sugar Sweet Treats
A home-based business, run by self-taught baker and cake decorator Beth Sims-Doan. Committed to using only the freshest ingredients, and offering a variety of creative products or custom creations. You’ll find Beth and her Sweet Treats at many local events around Pasadena, but you can also place an order online at BethsSweetTreats.com.
4. Patti Kake Bakery
Located inside Two Rivers at 4105 Mountain Rd, in Lake Shore Plaza. Patti Kake Bakery specializes in making custom cakes for all occasions, including birthdays, weddings, and showers. Not only are their cakes amazing works of art, but they taste delicious as well.
